MY WORLD BOOK SERIES

MY WORLD is a series of cross–curricular books which prepare students for the complexity of the real world.
 

Cross-curricular instruction is a great way for teachers to incorporate different disciplines in education into one. It can also be referred to as “Interdisciplinary Learning”. In cross-curricular school excellence, the different school subjects are just a small puzzle piece of the larger puzzle.

They can all go together as one to make up the big puzzle in education.
 

When cross-curricular does happen, it can positively change the learning process. When it is preferred, two things happen. First, students are encouraged to integrate learning experiences into their schemes of meaning to broaden and deepen their understanding of themselves and their world. Second, students are engaged in seeking, acquiring, and using knowledge in an organic – not an artificial – way.
